Friends of the Cross County Library

The Friends of the Cross County Library is a non-profit organization which supports the public libraries of Cross County with advocacy, fundraising and volunteers. This support is vital to provide many of the programs and services the libraries offer.
The "Friends" fully underwrite the annual Summer Reading Program, keeping hundreds of children in Cross County reading through the summer months. They regularly support other programs and activities. The "Friends" even assumed the loan and paid off the construction of the addition to the Wynne Library in 1999. In addition to their regular fundraisers, the "Friends" maintain an endowment fund in support of the library.
The annual CHOCOLATE FEAST is a big fundraiser for the Friends. Handmade chocolates are sold as a special Valentines treat. Funds from the feast directly support the Summer Reading Program.
Please join this worthwhile organization. For more information, please inquire at the Wynne Library, or email folwynne@gmail.com.
